fourth of July in Brazil MTC cafeteria

the cafeteria workers all wore these huge hats
there were balloons everywhere and a icecream bar. This is Doctor Lindford and one of the missionaries.
this is where we usually sit for all our meals. it is by the door going out of the cafeteria so I can wave to the missionaries and they can stop and talk to grandpa/Vernon if they need to. Sister Lindford is the doctors wife.
here is an other shot of the cafeteria so that you can see the rest of the decorations. They also had a huge american flag on the wall as you walked into the cafeteria. They served hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, chicken, potatoe salad, watermelon and the rest of the trimmings. It was fun. The missionaries all sang the Star Spangled Banner and they sang it again on the 6th on Sunday morning at mission conference.

I think thats great that the CTM would celebrate another nations holiday, aside form the presidency and the doctor - are the majority of missionaries and employees American or from other nationalities?
