Vernon and Jerry finally figure out how to download pictures from their camera again. Here we are in Recife at the alojamento (Temple housing) This was taken at a Birthday Breakfast for Jerry (Feb 2) and Sister Ivonnie Baird (Feb 22)

The Bairds are sitting across from Vernon they have one week left before they go home.Their home is in Provo so we hope to stay connected after our return.

The Bairds have been wonderful in helping us learn what we need to do as temple missionaries and are just lots of fun to be with.

This is some of the landscaping off the patio that we use for group parties on the ground level

This view is looking up to the first floor railing (which would be the second floor in the states). We live on second floor (3rd floor) and can look out over these wonderful tropical plants 

Many of these plants are house plants in the states but they grow all over in Recife as outdoor plants and get huge.The weather is always humid and very warm for all theses plants and they do grow like crazy. We will try to post on a regular basis.  These photos were taken on February 18th 2013
